OEG Film Noir Project 2010

In my sleeplessness I fell over this video I once uploaded on my youtube account.
It was a Film Noir movie project in my Media class on Ørestad Gymnasium.

I did the storyboard/filming and cutting/editing.

I actually like this short piece.. XD Or rather - I liked doing it! Film Noir is such a wonderful genre to play with. :)

WICKED - Det Ny Teater

I was finally watching Wicked for the first time yesterday at the danish Det Ny Teater! My my! It was weird not having the English lyrics, but the danish translations was not that bad... :) The acting was really great, and what I was most impressed about was the scenography/set design and costumes!

I am going to watch it again with my family soon. :) They have to watch it.. ^.^

			I have been so exited to watch this musical! I think they did areally good job, and I was gloriosly entertained! :) The down side was that the sound technical wasn't working properly. Meh, that was a bit sad, and Fiyero was good but maybe too classical rather than musical. No! He was really good! But not exactly Fiyero. :)      After Fiyero and Elphabas song, Elphaba in the original says "for the first time I fell - wicked" which is totally awesome, but in the danish she was saying: "for the first time I fell - like an evil witch." Meh. I was like: :/..... That just didn't work. And since they kept the original title for the whole play, why not just keep that single English word to make that song and scene complete. :)

 

To return to the scenography and the costumes. The danish theater had got the rights to change a lot of the original designs. They were completely Steam Punk inspired, Victorian but in a modern way. With 60 flat screens placed in on stage, and around which illustrated a lot of different things, and a projection wall with big images that made it possible to create a lot of interesting character to the scenes.

TANGLED

TANGLED

Sorry I am just not up to date....
Last monday (2011-01-31) I finally got to watch Tangled! I have been waiting for soooo long!

I was so tempted to download it or watch it online, buut, I wanted to see it in good quality and in 3D for the first time - and downloading is illegal...! tsk...

Well... I have tried before to have extremly high expectations to a movie, and get dissapointed when I finally see it.... Did this happen to Tangled? HELL NO! 

Disney never disappoint! It was even better than I imagined it would be!

It got it all.. Good songs, great characters, love, an amazing villain, lovable creatures, fantastic soundtrack once again produced by Alan Menken, and great voice actors! (English for the win...) All in all, a masterpiece, a great number 50 classic from Disney!

I cried like hell, I laughed like hell, I tried not to sing along to the songs like hell... I ENJOYED IT LIKE HELL! XD Damn... It was good... I will be buying it on Blue-Ray in the end of the month... I have to.. Go to the internet and order it... :)

Watching the film got me motivated to finally get moving with my Rapunzel costume... I got the wig (well almost.. It got the weight of 2kilo but I still need to buy more hair to put into it) and now in this weekend, I made the under white skirt, and the skirt! (without brodery.. I'm not that fast...) :)

I'm really exited about this cosplay! The most expensive and complex (who would have thought that) cosplay I have ever made.. XP It ought to be good...
